John: Well, looks like, uh, I kicked your butts. Flevy: No way! Let's have a rematch! Every cloud has a silver lining.

Eye Hospital:Manchester Royal Eye Hospital operates as the Ophthalmic Division within the Trust. Nationally,it is the second largest provincial postgraduate ophthalmic teaching hospital—— Moorfields Eye Hospital in London being the first. Opened in 1992,the Hong Kong Eye Hospital replaced the Yaumatei Eye Centre as a secondary and tertiary eye referral centre. It occupies a total floor area of 13,065 square metres with a staff force of 230. The Academic Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences of the Chinese University of Hong Kong is integrated with the Hospital's clinical service. 与此意相近,俗语“have an ace up one's sleeves”喻指“手中握有的王牌”、“及时解救危机的好办法”。 短语“have an ace up one's sleeves”源于16世纪。 正是基于赌徒的作弊伎俩,短语“have an ace up his sleeves”开始被公众接受。 I don't know how Henry is going to get his mom to buy him a bike, but I'm sure he has an ace up his sleeves.(我不知道亨利要用什么法子让他妈妈给他买自行车,但我确信,他肯定有他自己的绝招。)

Joke--A holiday

A cruel king went to a fortune-teller and asked her:"On what day shall I die?" She answered him that he would die on a holiday. "Why are you so sure of that?" Asked the king. "And the day," she answered ,"on which you die will be a holiday for the others." HAPPY NEW YEAR AND GOOD LUCK!
